Café des Arts - Cité internationale des Arts, 20 octobre 2018

During a residency at the cité des arts in 2001 Copa & Sordes realized a series of videotableaux documenting Paris markets.
Still lives were arranged in front of the different market sceneries showing 1 hour of real life in the background.
These images from the past are confronted with the realities found at the same locations today. A big still live was arranged in the café des arts. An eatable installation that has been cooked by the visitors in a collective act.
